Wolsey

We were commissioned to fully refurbish the former Wolsey Hotel, transforming it into a 19-bedroom, 13-bathroom, 2-kitchen HMO. The project required significant structural reinforcement, including the installation of 47 steel beams, and involved multifaceted coordination for the building’s fire safety strategy. Working closely with the client, council, fire safety officers, and building control, we meticulously planned and executed compartments, escape routes, and fire-rating installations. Our team efficiently managed complex subcontractors to deliver a safe, compliant, and contemporary shared-living facility, meeting all regulatory standards while revitalising the former hotel building.
